Chilly Willy Sandwich

The Chilly Willy Sandwich gets its name from the spicy kick of jalapeno peppers.

  1. Preheat a grill or stovetop griddle pan.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place the bread slices, buttered side down, on the grill or griddle pan.
  4. Top each slice with a slice of cheddar cheese.
  5. Add jalapeno peppers on top of the cheese.
  6. Cover with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
  7. Grill the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from heat and spread mayonnaise on the inside of each sandwich.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
